The 60 Litre Wheelie Bin is on its way! ETA : October 2011

We're hearing there will be a few different variations of the new 60L wheelie bin, one could only assume there will be a bin focused on the Kerbside collection of food waste to be used in conjunction with the SULO Food and Organics waste Kitchen Tidies. The 60 Litre wheelie bin will incorporate a handle which extends up the back of the bin so the operator doesn’t have to bend over to wheel the bin around.

It will be a very handy bin indeed! There will be so many uses for the 60L wheelie bin, ranging from battery collection & disposal, to use as a mobile Esky!

Melville to go ahead with Recycling 360L wheelie bins

The City of Melville have decided to move forward and implement the 360L wheelie bin as their new recycling wheelie bins, after a successful trial over approximately 6 months.

The SULO 360L is a new design, unlike any other wheelie bin in Australia. The clever design allows the collection truck to lift 360Ls wheelie bins, or 240L wheelie bins with same "Grabber", thereby allowing a greater freedom of options to the resident whilst providing council with a workable solution to collecting more waste and reducing recycling material "leakage" (where the recycling bin is overflowing, allowing the material to "leak" into the rubbish bin due to lack of space in the Recycling wheelie bin).

The Water Wheelie Bins are a new product to be added to our extensive list here at David Grays, they feature a 140 Litre modified SULO wheelie bin, fitted with various hoses and fittings which allow the user to capture up to 140 Litres of water, then move the water out into the garden and hose it directly onto plants.

David Grays & SULO Exhibiting at the Waste & Recycling Conference 2010

David Gray & Co Pty Ltd and SULO MGB Australia Pty Ltd are pleased to be exhibiting at the West Australian Waste and Recycle Conference in Fremantle beginning the 14th of September through until the 17th of September.

SULO have recently launched various new products which will be proudly displayed at the conference. SULO Australia recently developed a Side-Loader (grab lift) friendly wheelie bin named the 240 Litre KSB. This new wheelie bin design incorporates and absorbing column structure built into the body of the bin. This in turn should help the bin last significantly longer than the current design wheelie bin which was designed originally for rear-lift tipping.

Also on display will be SULO's new 360 Litre super sized wheelie bin. Designed to fit the current axle for the 240 L Wheelie Bin, the 360 Litre has a bulked up axle box, side finger grips, and larger wheels for easier handling. These are also Australian made which has brought the price down significantly.

Complementary to the SULO Organics Collection Bin, SULO have released a kitchen tidy organics collection bin, which will also be on display.

If you have a broken wheelie bin lid, it is possible the lid only requires new pins to be hammered into the handle to fix the problem. Wheelie Bin of all makes owners could be forgiven for thinking they can just bang in the old pin and it will hold - truth is it probably won't.

We offer lid pins and plugs for wheelie bins of all major makes, SULO wheelie bins, Nylex, Mastec, Otto, Schaeffer and we even have a universal pin which fits most (not all) bins.

We're constantly surprised by the strange non-waste uses of the humble wheelie bin.

In recent months, we've sold wheelie bins for horse feed, spill kits, storage of sports equipment, collection of second hand clothes, worm farms in wheelie bins, a wheelable casing for transporting scientific measurement equipment and the strangest of them all: someone purchased the 340L SULO Euro wheelie bin for use as a Hot Tub!
